The story of our association
Come discover our association ! Made up of a team of young women motivated to offer tailored activities to those affected by eating disorders (EDs), in groups where kindness, attentive listening and non judgment are top priorities !

Welcome to the TCAkéso website, a peer-support association committed to support individuals affected by eating disorders (ED).
Founded under the name HelloDie Asso in July 2023 by Élodie Mathis – a 20 years old ED survivor in recovery – we now support individuals, especially young people, in their recovery in Strasbourg.
Carefully chosen activities
Our members are familiar with ED and aware of the issues that may come with it, they are all determined to use their own experiences as a strength and work together to support others.
To that end, we offer activities such as art therapy, adapted physical activity, and therapeutic education, all designed to meet individual needs in small, inclusive, and caring groups.

Awareness sessions in your institutions
With the aim of raising awareness about eating disorders among as many people as possible, we conduct prevention workshops in schools, universities and healthcare facilities.

Our goal ? Working together toward a better understanding of eating disorders and to bring a more humane approach to those issues.
How to support us?
Our Short Film

This project was launched in summer 2023 by Élodie Mathis, the founder and president of TCAkéso, and carried out by Léane Wendling and Fara-Line Rakotomandimby, both members of the association.
To accompany the film, presentations are held by members of the association followed by discussions on eating disorders.
Structured as a hyperlink cinema (following several characters in parallel), it depicts a day in the life of high school students, each struggling with a different form of ED. The goal is to highlight specific behaviors of people suffering from ED, that could serve as warning signs.
The script draws from the personal experiences of our members and testimonies from young women and young men who suffered or are suffering from those disorders and are now turning their past experiences into an educational tool. The screening is in itself an event : it opens up a space for free, caring, and open discussion, aimed at debunking stereotypes and ultimately improving the way eating disorders are handled in the medical field by promoting dialogue between patients, families, and healthcare providers.
And… Coming Soon : Our E-book!
In the coming months, TCAkéso will publish an exclusive e-book designed to inform, raise awareness, and support people affected by eating disorders (ED) and their loved ones.
